About Us
Our Story
The Bulkley Valley Community Foundation (BVCF) was founded in 1990 at the request of the Town of Smithers Economic Development Committee as a non-profit, charitable society. We provide opportunities for the communities of Kitwanga, the Hazeltons, Upper Skeena communities, Witset, Smithers, Telkwa, Houston, Topley, Granisle, and their adjacent rural areas by awarding grants to local organizations and learning awards to students with income generated through responsibly managed donations and legacies.
