Bulkley Valley Fall Fair

New shavings bin provided with assistance from the Bulkley Valley Community Foundation.


Hazelton Elementary Parent Advisory Council

A grant from the Bulkley Valley Community Foundation assisted with the purchase of new playground equipment for the school. (2013)


Hazelton Library

Bulkley Valley Community Foundation grant assisted with the purchase of a wheelchair accessible door for their washrooms. (2014)


Glenwood Hall (Driftwood Hall)

A grant from the Bulkley Valley Community Foundation assisted with the purchase of new kitchen equipment. (2014)


Back Country Horsemen

Back Country Horsemen built a new bridge with funds provided by the Bulkley Valley Community Foundation. (2012)


SSS Girls Rugby Team

Smithers Senior Secondary Girls Rugby Team showing off their new uniforms purchased with the assistance of the Bulkley Valley Community Foundation. (2013)


NICKERS Therapeutic Riding School

The Foundation assisted the school with the purchase of a therapeutic riding saddle for children with physical challenges. (2015)


BV Child Development Centre- Stay & Play Group

Bulkley Valley Child Development Center – with a grant provided by the Foundation the Child Development Center purchased the snacks for their Stay and Play Group. One mother commented that this play group is the highlight of her week. She enjoys visiting with other parents while their little ones play.(2014)


BV Art Gallery Pop-up Tent

Smithers Art Gallery pop up tent they will use for summer art camps, Saturday drop in activities for children and art activities during the Main Street Festival and Canada Day celebrations.


Bulkley Valley Classical Strings Society

Bulkley Valley Classical Strings Society (2013) – Funds provided assistance to host a musical workshop for members of the society.


Bulkley Valley Regional Pool

Bulkley Valley Regional Pool - Children having fun at the pool because of funds provided by the McEwen Endowment Fund (2015)


The Houston Public Library

The Houston Public Library was able to purchase new furniture with funds generated by the Morice Education Fund administered by the BV Foundation. The new furniture makes the seating area a very inviting place to browse though a book.


Houston Retirement Housing Society

The Houston Retirement Housing Society have completed the Cedar Wing of their complex. The BV Community Foundation assisted with the purchase of the windows. Congratulations to the Society!
